A survey is given of developments at the Department of Justice (DOJ) as the Clinton administration is winding down. The ongoing tension between the FBI and the DOJ over the fire at the Branch Davidian complex at Waco and the 1998 sting against former Washington mayor Marion Barry are included.

Article Abstract:
Issues are discussed concerning the use of a potentially false affidavit to convict Edwin Wilson of arms smuggling and being a rogue CIA operative 16 years ago. Wilson's defense was that in selling arms to Libya he ingratiated himself with them and furthered his CIA work.
