Article Abstract:
Time-and-billing software products chosen should include the standards fields of practice area, client's name, address and phone number, an alternative billing address as an accommodation for insurance clients and other third party payers, as well as names of opposing attorneys and their phone numbers. The software should be able to tailor the bill to suit the clients' needs, as different clients require different billing formats. Easy-to-enter billing code abbreviations should also be a part of the package.
