The author examines proposed policy arrangements to remedy international competition problems, proposed by the World Trade Organization and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, and suggests the policy will create new problems.

Rethinking WTO trade sanctions

The author examines the use of economic sanctions by the World Trade Organization in order to enforce its rules. He concludes that the practice is not a good policy for the WTO and offers some alternatives.
