The author examines the question of whether the US Supreme Court should have intervened in the 2000 presidential election. He argues further that there is no basis in Florida law for believing that Albert Gore would have won the election, had there been a recount.

The market for federal judicial law clerks
Article Abstract:
The authors analyze the market for hiring federal judicial law clerks. Federal appellate judges in 1999 and 2000 were surveyed, along with eight US Supreme Court Justices. Law students were surveyed about the hiring process.
