Second City tries again; Chicago hopes new loitering law avoids constitutional defects
Article Abstract:
The latest Chicago ordinance to discourage drug traffickers and gangs and one which the city hopes will pass constitutional muster is discussed. The Supreme Court ruled with the first ordinance that it was overly vague and gave the police too much discretion about deciding which groups to disperse.

Standing up for victims
Article Abstract:
Efforts by the ABA Commission on Domestic Violence to educate the legal community and public about ways to prevent conjugal violence are discussed. Encouraging divorce mediation and providing safe visitation exchanges for victims and their children are included.
