Article Abstract:

Loh predicted in a speech to the House of Representives of the American Assn of Law Schools on Jan 5, 1997, that tenure for college teachers would become a thing of the past in about a decade, and around the country regular personnel reviews are becoming more the trend for college teachers. In fact, at the University of Minnesota's law school tenure can be revoked in cases of grave misconduct, with the occurrence of such misconduct to be determined by peer review.
