The effects of global and regional trade agreements on domestic tax law and bilateral tax conventions: proceedings of a seminar held at the 60th International Fiscal Association Congress
Article Abstract:
A seminar was held during the 60th Congress of the International Fiscal Association, wherein tax and trade professionals tackled the relationship between taxation and trade agreements. The emphasis of the seminar, which also discused the extent to which trade agreements address tax law, was on the law of the World Trade Organization. The proceedings of the seminar are outlined.

Comprehensive approaches to company taxation in the European Union and cross-border corporate reorganizations
Article Abstract:
The various issues related to European Union's company taxation practice are discussed. The need for proper tax laws apart from various commercial laws in order to promote cross-border business activities, which is an integral part of overall internal market development, is examined.
