A drop of star dust?
Article Abstract:
Some observers believe that the era of star presenters of light entertainment television programmes in the UK is coming to an end. This is because the places from which established presenters came, particularly music halls and seaside summer seasons, no longer exist. However, it is possible to argue that there is still a valuable role for today's star presenters. Indeed, there is a great deal of younger talent with potential. Possible star presenters of the future include Johnny Vaughan, comedians Jeff Green and Phil Jupitus and performer Tim Vine.
