A new leaf for ITC's library
Article Abstract:
ITC chief executive Patricia Hodgson has determined that a communication regulation agency should not continue to run the ITC library that houses archives of broadcasting policy. The library is expected to survive thanks to the interest of industry executives, provided a suitable location is found that is both London-based and provides free services.

A modest revolution

The green paper published this week is a step towards strengthening BBC and making it independent of the government. However, there are still many questions left unanswered, including BBC's proposal for Window of Creative Competition (WOCC) and the move to Manchester.
