A very different view
Article Abstract:
Tiger Aspect's "Coming Down the Mountain" on BBC1 is a single drama featuring a teenager with Down's syndrome in a lead role, in which the story's climax was on a ridge near the top of Mount Snowdon. The screenplay was the first by novelist Mark Haddon, and the show was also the first of producer Roanna Benn. The storyline and the scriptwriting process of "Coming Down the Mountain" are described.
