BBC1 plays cupid with dating show
Article Abstract:
BBC1 commissioned RDF to produce a new reality dating show Date My Mom, Date My Dad, in which children of recently divorced or widowed single parents help them find new partners. Speed dating techniques will be used to shortlist two candidates, who will then move in with the single parents and live with them one at a time over a weekend. The candidates are rated by the children as they do a variety of duties and chores and the most suitable gets chosen.
