Collaborative science: moving ecosystem-based management forward in Puget Sound
Article Abstract:
An important step towards the implementation of ecosystem-based management (EBM) has recently been encouraged by science and policy leaders in Puget Sound. A report on a common understanding of the ecosystem is to serve as a model for collaborations to support EBM. Details of the report are discussed.

The potential crisis for journalism and its education with some responding by embracing other disciplines more fully into the curricula is described. The academy should examine if the principles of journalism are ethical.
