Director Mark Strickson shares his experiences of filming for Animal Planet's Lyndal's Lifeline series. He explains how working with inspiring people and wonderful animals makes up for being stranded at an airport, dealing with missing baggage, encountering a bus accident, working three days behind schedule, or contending with other filming problems.

"This World: The Goddess and the King" is a documentary shot in Nepal about the 9-year-old Royal Kumari which is believed to be the living incarnation of the goddess Taleju. The production's main challenge was the schedule, with research and filming lasting only four weeks. A personal narrative of the show's producer/director is given.
