Anger as Carlton pockets 17m pounds sterling of Channel 4 levy
Article Abstract:
Carlton UK Television, and ITV operator, is to receive nearly 17 million pounds sterling as part of Channel 4's funding formula. Chief executive of PACT, John Woodward, is critical of the 57.3 millipn funding formula, particularly when ITV seems to be producing programmes more cheaply and making less in the regions.
