Don't reward failure
Article Abstract:
Michael Grade announced in his five-year plan for ITV that he wants 75% of all programs to be produced in-house, and that the company is planning to spend 200 million pounds to buy independent production companies. This plan is quite weak, considering that ITV hasn't produced a lot of quality programs over the past two years. An evaluation of Grade's forecast by an unnamed independent producer is given.
