British Broadcasting Company (BBC) worldwide wanted to do direct deals with Chinese manufacturers to make Tweenies toys. However, the BBC W orldwide's former head of global marketing and brand development, was sentenced to twenty months in a Hong Kong jail involvement in a fraud that cost the BBC almost five lac pounds over three years, for which the BBC is now pursuing a civil action.
