Kangaroo, a three-way collaboration between BBC, ITV, and Channel 4 to launch a video on demand platform, represents a maneuver by broadcasting giants to secure their future online. The deal between BBC and the trade body Pact allowing interactive content producers to own their creations puts content producers at par with their TV counterparts.
