Heart capitalises on Vaughan flop

The breakfast show by Johnny Vaughan in Capital 95.8 Frequency Modulation (FM), has lost nearly 200,000 listeners and pushed the radio station's share from 7.9% to 6.6%. The rival station Heart 106.2 FM is just short of 0.2% to become the top among the FM radio stations of London.

GWR and Capital act to defend merger
Article Abstract:
Both Capital radio and GWR would like to close their merger deal before their competitors approach. The two companies made a public announcement to stop interference from anyone. The merger would give them 40% share of the radio advertising market.
