ITV faces 70m pounds hit as viewing slumps
Article Abstract:
With audiences for ITV's reality show I'm a celebrity...Get Me Out of Here declining to 8.2 million, down by around two million from the figures for the last series in January, it could translate into revenue loss of 60 -70 million pounds for the network. According to the Contract Rights Renewal agreement with advertisers, any fall in commercial impacts could result in advertisers withdrawing from spending without being financially penalized. ITV is trying to channelize the money that may move from ITV towards its digital channels ITV2 and ITV3.
