ITV hands chair to money man

ITV, following the shareholders request for a banker or a high profile financial wizard as a chairman, nominated Sir Peter Burt, former chief executive of Bank of Scotland. However the success of ITV will not rest in his hands, though he has the determination to achieve once he sets his mind, but in the hands of the director of programmes, Nigel Pickard and Granada chief executive Simon Shaps.

BBC Out of London chief quits project
