It's time to move on
Article Abstract:
The efforts of Pact to address the issue of exploitation of freelancers in the industry and the impending negotiations with Bectu are discussed. The extent to which Pact will address these issues considering the fact that it is a trade firm whose expenditure is incurred by the indies about whom the freelancers are complaining is examined. It is suggested that freelancers should present their plight before Ofcom and even Department of Trade and Industry to highlight the unfair employment practices.
