Managing the skills gap

The broadcasting industry hot shots require solid management skills to complement their creative excellence. The newly created Centre for Creative Business, a not-for-profit joint venture between London Business School and University of Arts London, with seed funding by the government is creating very high quality, affordable short courses in business strategy to creative entrepreneurs so that they can take their business onto a secure platform for expansion. The creative industries average growth rate of 6% annually is valued at [pounds sterling] 21 billion and given the right management skill set have the potential to multiply their worth.
