Minotaur's "Amazing Mrs. Pritchard" bought by PBS

US broadcaster WGBH has bought "The Amazing Mrs. Pritchard", a six-part drama series from UK distributor Minotaur International. The series, which features a supermarket manager who became UK's prime minister, will be aired on WGBH's PBS channel, in the flagship "Masterpiece Theatre" strand. Other UK shows on PBS, as well as a brief description of "The Amazing Mrs. Pritchard", are also discussed.

Five lifts Fireman Sam from BBC
Article Abstract:
Children's television show "Fireman Sam", which has been running on BBC for 16 years, has moved to Five and Cartoonito. Turner Broadcasting-owned Cartoonito secured the rights to screen the new CGI version of the show. The new production of "Fireman Sam", and the programming plans of Five and Cartoonito are discussed as well.
