Radio1 has added 1 million listeners, an increase of 2.4%, after Chris Moyles took over as DJ of Radio1's breakfast show, helping the station to record a weekly audience of 10.4 million. The Rajar figures for June-September 2004 show significant decrease in Capital Radio's breakfast show listeners to just 1 million, followed by Jono Coleman and Harriet Scott's breakfast show on Heart which now has less than 797,000 listeners.
