OB firms face up to their HD future
Article Abstract:
Outside broadcasting firms in United Kingdom have not absorbed the high definition technology to the levels that was expected of them. Many of these companies have to change their equipment to meet the requirements relating to the said technology. The reasons for this slow pace in technology absorption by the industry are also discussed.

High definition in 2008
Article Abstract:
Forecasts by television producers, broadcasters, post-production facilities and kit suppliers on high definition television (HDTV) for 2008 are presented. HDTV received a big boosts in 2007, such as the approval of HD broadcasts on digital terrestrial television and the launch of digital satellite platform Freesat.
