"Early Breakfast" host Greg James joined BBC Radio 1 after finishing his third year at East Anglia University, and his love for radio started when he was about 10 or 11. The idea of hosting a show on the same time slot as radio talk show hosts whom he has admired for many years is the biggest challenge in his job. James' other views on various topics are given.

R4 archive to become online 'encyclopaedia'
Article Abstract:
BBC Radio 4 controller Mark Damazer announced during the Radio Academy event that the station will be using media technology to make the station an "aural encyclopaedia". Its archive of content will be opened to the public through the Internet, and will be constantly updated. His other plans to uphold the public service credentials of Radio 4 are also given.
