Pact allays quota fears

Television producers' alliance Pact insists the BBC's 25 per cent production quota for independent companies will remain intact despite rumors that 'super indies' want to reduce it in exchange for more rights. The misunderstanding emerged after smaller independent production companies were shut out of a meeting between the 'super indies' and representatives from the Department of Culture, Media, and Sport.

Satire revival
