Article Abstract:
Sir Christopher Bland, the ex-chairman of London Weekend Television (LWT) and the newly appointed chairman of the British Broadcasting Corporation, is the subject of much discussion within the industry because some people are attributing his latest appointment to his connections with the LWT old boy network. Others, who have had careers in LWT, say that many good people have worked for the company and that the company recruitment standards are extreemly high.
