Review of Largemouth Bass virus
Article Abstract:
Largemouth bass virus was first isolated during 1991 in Florida, has now been found in several bodies of water in the eastern United States, and is the only virus known to cause a lethal disease in largemouth bass. The study indicates that LMBV causes a fish kill, the number of fish dying of the event and the inherent difficulty in accurately counting dead fish in large bodies of water.

Effect of spatial variation on Zooplankton community assessment in fishery studies
Article Abstract:
Zooplankton population metrics are used extensively in fishery research and results indicate that Zooplankton exhibit spatial differences in size structure and abundance. A sample size estimation technique and stratified random sampling within habitat types might serve as a more advantageous method for quantifying Zooplankton populations in some fisheries studies.
