Securing rights to top sports events
Article Abstract:
There are three ways of securing rights to some of the top sporting events. The first involves a sports right organization buying the rights from a governing body for a fee. Another model involves selling rights to a broadcaster or production company, while a third model has the host city arranging the broadcasting, sponsorship and merchandising rights.
