Special events change the rule of prime time
Article Abstract:
Special events like Wimbledon Tournaments change the definition of prime time on television which is conventionally understood to be the time between 7pm and 10.30pm. Consequently, the spectrum for comparative analysis of the audience ratings relating to different channels is wider at such times. A comparison of the audience ratings of television programs on different channels like C4, BBC3 and ITV is presented.
