Cable costs 'prohibitive'

NTL and Telewest are collecting exorbitant charges from television broadcasting companies that desire to start their services on cable networks. These charges reach almost 750,000 sterling pounds a year. The demand is so high that some television broadcasting companies are unable to find any room on the platform.
