The International Programme for the Development of Communication: a decade of infancy
Article Abstract:
The International Programme for the Development of Communication (IPDC) was createdas a counter-measure of communication imbalances in developing countries. The IPDC, a UNESCO program, has regressed from original expectations although it has remained viable in checking such imbalances. The program has led to projects involving media training and research, broadcasting and news agencies.

The term apres moderate was to be inclusive of the work of many scholars that were not exposed to or did not draw on postmodern theory in discussing conditions of globalization. The next great technologically transformation of international communication would take place after 2025 and all humankind would enter new dimensions of space exploration and colonization.

Economic communication in the 'Lost Decade'
Article Abstract:
The relationship among three critical variables in economic communication - recession coverage, the state of the economy and consumer confidence - in Japan is investigated. However, it was discovered that the linkage between these variables in Japan differs from that fond for the United States during the recession in the early 1900s.
