"Are You Smarter Than a 10-year-old?" is a new television quiz show on Sky One wherein adults are tested on their basic knowledge for a chance to win 250,000 pounds. A panel of six intelligent 10-year-olds will throw a lifeline if the contestant finds a question difficult, but the objective of is to avoid being outsmarted to often by the children. The show's format, audition process and set design are described.

DCD eyes US/Europe for more acquisitions

DCD Media is scouting the United States and Europe for more acquisition deals with independent producers, after having completed a 19 million-pound sterling deal in the summer of 2007. The company's revenue in the year ending June 30 jumped to 26.8 million pounds sterling. The other acquisition deals of DCD are discussed as well.
