The concept of public service publisher (PSP) enunciated by Ofcom will be discussed on December 2. Caution is needed if the PSP idea dominates to the disadvantage of ITV and Channel 4. C4 is seeking additional [pounds sterling] 100 million public support, possibly from BBC, and raise the question why we need a PSP when we already have C4.
