Article Abstract:
The idea for "Hitler's Favourite Royal" came from Fi Cotter Craig, who read about a British grandson of Queen Victoria who was sent to Germany to take up the dukedom of Coburg. The idea was pitched to Channel 4, and intensive research was made to create the program. The evolution of the idea and the major production challenges are discussed as well.

Pascal and Laurent Rodon decided to revive children's television program "The Magic Roundabout", and enlisted Theresa Plummer-Andrews as the executive producer of the show. Computer g enerated i magery (CGI) software was used to make the show. The development of the idea for the show, and the major challenges in production, were discussed.
