Article Abstract:
BBC is known for its period dramas during autumn, the latest of which is "Cranford" on BBC1. "Lark Rise to Candleford", "Oliver Twist", "The Passion" and "Sense and Sensibility" in are slated to be produced for 2008, and it is apparent that BBC lacks in producing more modern drama shows. The output of BBC's in-house drama department is analyzed.

BBC to explore forces of nature worldwide
Article Abstract:
BBC's Natural History Unit will explore how environmental changes affect animals in "Nature's Great Events", a six-part series for BBC1. A different part of the world will be featured in each 60-minute episode of the show, and will include new film techniques such as ultra-speed shooting. Examples of the series' episodes are also given.
