UK distributors expect bumper sales at Natpe

UK-based television distributors are projecting high sales during the National Association of Program Executives (Natpe) Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is expected that US networks will look to UK shows to fill the gaps in their schedules brought about by the writers strike. Notable television distribution deals and trends are discussed.

Tony Jordan waited 12 years for his works "Moving Wallpaper" and "Echo Beach" to be aired in UK television via ITV1. "Moving Wallpaper" is a comedy about fictional producers of a soap opera entitled "Echo Beach", and "Echo Beach" itself is a stand-alone show. His views on writing and soap operas are also presented.
