Who's working the system
Article Abstract:
The first employment census of the UK broadcasting industry was conducted in May of 2000, and figures from the census indicate that minority employees are under-represented compared with the entire workforce. Women comprise 36 per cent, ethnic minorities make up 5.4 per cent, and disabled people account for 0.9 per cent of broadcasting employees. A series of graphs accompanying the article outline the census data.
