Why family matters for kidsE TV
Article Abstract:
Adults usually watch childrenEs programs to help tiny-tots derive learning experiences from the shows and to monitor pre-teens viewing, or simply because some of the kids programs appeal to them too. The Simpsons, Bob the Builder, Tintin, Angela Anaconda and Hilltop Hospital are good examples of cross viewing. Increasingly producers are capitalizing on this trend and creating programmes that are suitable for combined viewing by both children and adults.
