Article Abstract:
The Marine Corps Combat Development Command (MCCDC) has played an important role in the success of the US Marines serving on the battlefield, as it provides good training, leadership and material resources. The new expeditionary force development process translates concepts into capabilities and it also develops the doctrine, operational concepts, material, logistics, personnel and facilities in order to ensure the Marine Corps effective employment.

Finding Pete Ellis: A proposal
Article Abstract:
A short sabbatical program is suggested to discover Pete Ellis among the Marines, that is, to facilitate Marines with novel concepts to develop their ideas. The program should be institutionalized at the individual level to foster concepts likely to benefit future generations of Marines, with the provision of a research facility, mentors and command supported time to interested Marines.
