A 'one-stop shop': Marine wing support squadrons provide HA/DR support

Article Abstract:

The Marine wing support squadron (MWSS) is usually considered the Marine aircraft wing's (MAW's) principal source for combat logistics that provides aviation ground support (AGS) to a Marine aircraft group. But the engineer, motor transport, medical, life support and surface distribution capabilities of the MWSS make it a true multipurpose squadron in humanitarian assistance/disaster relief (HA/DR) missions.

The Marine Corps takes young men and women and challenges and shapes them physically and mentally by weeks of demanding training so that they can finally earn the much-coveted Marine title.
