Article Abstract:
Drastic changes were made in some parts of the US Air Force after the end of cold war. It is done for fresh look at its basing structure and transforming itself with precision weapons, advanced intelligence-surveillance-reconnaissance systems, and stronger long-range aircraft capabilities.

In 2003, overall US Air Force (USAF) aircraft mission capable rates went up for the third straight year. The air force currently has five "Falconer" air operation centers (AOC), which serve as USAFs comprehensive air warfare command centers.
