CO2 absorption systems for use in submarines
Article Abstract:
Drager Sicherheitstechnik develops and manufactures carbon dioxide absorption systems for use in confined confined spaces such as submarines and shelters. The company has introduced the A 2000 Carbon Dioxide Scrubber system which uses DragerSorb as absorbent. The A 2000 consists of compact modules with integrated drawers, with drawer capable of holding 6 absorbing cartridges. The scrubber system can reduce and maintain the carbon dioxide level in boat atmosphere to 0.5% by volume.
