China's aviation- a military and industrial perspective
Article Abstract:
A military and industrial perspective on the technological growth of the Chinese aerospace industry in view of long-term operational needs of the People's Liberation Army's Air Force (PLAAF) and naval aviation is presented. The Chinese aviation industry is being shaped according to the national strategy's needs and is backed by a truly phenomenal process of economic growth.

'Marine One': A new helicopter for the US President
Article Abstract:
The announcement of awarding the contract of developing the U.S. President's next advanced helicopter under VXX programme to Lockheed Martin Corp. has created quite a stir in the Pentagon and the U.S. congressional offices. The total U.S. Navy contract to the Lockheed-led international team would be approximately $6.1 billion for 23 US101 Marine One helicopters.
