Article Abstract:
Existing tactical level Marine Corps systems are incompatible with those of the US Army as well as those of US allies. Future battlefields will rely on fully integrated digital systems controlling unmanned aerial vehicles, attack helicopters, tactical aircraft, direct fire seabased systems, and multiple launch rocket systems.

Army warfighter observations
Article Abstract:
Officers of the Marine Corps evaluated the training program of the Army and found it to be comprehensive, in that it linked the doctrine, education and training approaches taught by the Army. The benefits the Marine Corps would enjoy from implementing a similar philosophy are examined.
