A Tactical Decision Game is presented, involving a combat engineer force assigned to establish a secure route to attack drug smugglers on a Caribbean island. The assignment is more difficult than anticipated, and the communication connection has been broken.

Article Abstract:
Three solutions to Tactical Decision Game #01-8 are presented. The problem concerned clearing a section of Aceh, Indonesia, of enemy troops. One enemy squad was cleared, with the use of half the ammunition, when another two enemy squads were spotted.
