Article Abstract:
The trend of the electronic warfare (EW) has moved towards the use of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) processing and modular radio-frequency (RF) components. A vital technology is the wideband digital receiver, a technique pioneered on the F/A-22 program where the technology makes it possible to implement new techniques and algorithms to locate the source of signals more rapidly and accurately.
