European defense capability and capacity needs: A long-term vision
Article Abstract:
The European Defense Agency is leading a wide-ranging exercise to develop a long-term vision of European defense capability and capacity needs. The initial results of the study indicate that European forces should primarily prepare for operations in opaque circumstances against insurgents and possess the capacity to adopt synergy, agility, adaptability and selectivity with availability of universal communications and knowledge.
