Finland's new offset guidelines
Article Abstract:
Finland's new defense procurement offset guidelines emphasize industrial participation to give the domestic defense industry a chance to manufacture the parts and assemble the purchased equipment. Special preference would also be given to the promotion of Finnish defense exports and on the transfer of advanced technology to the Finnish defense industry. Industrial participation is also aimed for the benefit of small and medium-sized companies in the field of high technology.
